Anonymous asked: jenny I'm feeling so sad ): my social/general anxiety is making me feel constantly depressed. I'm even afraid to draw, because I feel I won't be any good at it.

Ahhhhhhh there’s no concrete blueprint as to how to eradicate all anxiety out of your life 

But from what I’ve learned thus far is that you are your own worst enemy and 99% of all your anxieties are fabricated delusions in your mind

You’re human and you are in a constant process of growing and learning through trial and error and overcoming depression isn’t going to happen overnight. I think one simple rule that we can apply here is to just constantly care for yourself and care for others, physically and mentally. You’ll find that becoming more comfortable and confident in your persona is a lot easier once you start making more of the conscious effort to do so.

Another thing that that helps your mindset is to maintain just a healthy lifestyle overall. Jogging, doing yoga, eating well (Cut the fast food. You’ll feel 10x better once you do). It sounds lame, but really, a healthy body equates a healthy mind, as I’m learning myself! I’m constantly making lifestyle changes as a means of improvement

And draw anyways. Especially if you think you’re bad at it.

Also everyone should read this if you’re constantly battling anxiety/self-consciousness it’ll give you warm fuzzies
