I haven’t sat down and sketchbooked whatever I wanted to in 5ever
Anyways, I drop off my little sister at the high school at 6:20 AM, drive up this quaint little hill in a neighborhood, and park in this little dirt-ridden spot on the road where you can see all (or like, a good amount) of Walnut in its tiny, quiet glory
And I sit on this stupid piece of scrap bark, stupidly, stupidly watching this tiny world groggily yawning from a heavy slumber as one-by-one the evening’s orange bursts of light vanish into the pale blue hills and buildings
And it’s good. It’s good. Things have been heavy but I think I can breathe easy again, a few staggers here and there
I guess that’s easier to say on quiet, early mornings when you’re watching the sun waking into vaster plains.
drawing a thing with wistful ghost-people-nothings who just wanna love y’know
